Drinking tea has many health benefits. Most teas are produced out of the Camellia Sinensis plant, which contain antioxidents called flavanoids. Some of these antioxidents may help against heart disease, cancer and clogged arteries. Teas also contain theanine and caffeine which can amplify mental awareness.

  • Green Tea - Studies have shown that green teas antioxidants prevent the growth of cancer in the breast, lung, bladder, stomach, pancreatic and colon. Green Tea antioxidants also prevent clogging of the arteries, help burn fat and reduce the risk of Parkinson's and Alzheimer's dieseases, as well as stroke.
  • Black Tea - the base for many teas like Chai and Microblend teas, black teas have the highest caffeine content. Some studies have shown that black tea may protect lungs from second hand smoke and reduces the risk of stroke.
  • White Tea - is unfermented and because of that, white tea has the most potent anticancer properties compared to other processed teas.
  • Oolong Tea - Oolong tea was found to lower bad cholesterol levels.
